FAssets v1.3 is now live on Songbird, Flare's canary network. The release brings the user-facing improvements we previewed in our earlier post on the FDC updates.
What's new in v1.3:
- Direct minting via the Core Vault — mint FXRP without going through an intermediary route.
- Faster mints — reduced processing times end-to-end.
- Single-transaction minting — no more two-step mints.
- Higher bridging capacity — more FXRP can flow through the system at once.
Under the hood, v1.3 depends on the two new XRPL-native FDC attestation types we shipped support for ahead of the release. Songbird is the canary deployment; mainnet rollout follows once it's stable here.
